I have a top of the range Winsor and Newton Series 7 sable Kolinsky brush which was a very expensive purchase for me but I find this brush much easier to use and performs a lot better. Even though it is only a size 4 it holds a LOT of water but it holds its shape. I’m relatively new to watercolour and I have noticed the difference that this has made to my painting. I also recently purchased a size 12 which I am also equally impressed with. I’ve now ordered four more brushes from the range I’m that impressed with them.
