To address a couple of the more negative comments; yes it does sit high but I am tall so it is no problem for me but I can see that it may be too high for some (although a small mobile step would solve this problem). I was a little concerned about the reports of the smoothness of the spinning cone but it is perfect for my 12 year old son to use without worrying about him hurting himself - it works a treat and there is no waste. You do not have to be strong to push down the fruit either; I juiced a pomegranate today with ease. For small limes, after I have halved them, I cut a centimetre line up the side of the with a knife before juicing which makes it fit the cone a little better. It is simple to put together, easy to clean and has been in the dish washer. A little messy on the hands but that is a minor con against the many pro's. Very speedy delivery from desertcart. I have just bought a pasta maker so I hope that turns out as good as this citrus press. Review: Citrus press attachment - Bought this item to replace a Magimix juicer which despite its ability to process every kind of fruit, I only ever used for juicing oranges. Given this was a sixth of the price of the Magimix and some of the negative reviews i read, I was somewhat dubious but as a lifeling fan of Kenwood I decided to give it a whirl. I am glad I did! Very well made product. Easy to attach, easy to store and dead easy to clean. You need to have a farly good grip to keep the oranges in place but if you follow the instructions to start on a low speed and work up gradually to speed 3, it works brilliantly. There was little if any spatter and it was very useful having the measuring jug underneath. I tend to buy copious amounts of the 'cheap' oranges from supermarkets which are in fact extremely juicy and have thin skins so great to juice. My only misgiving about it is that it is loud due to the gearing needed to slow the juicer down from the high speed outlet speed. A friend of mine has the same juicer in appearance (bought a couple of years ago) but it fits on the medium speed outlet and is much quieter.
