I knew this when I bought it, and I'm aware that there is a separate stand accessory available for about £12.99. Knowing that there are similar cases out there with built-in stands, this feels like a shortcoming, however, in most situations, just propping it up against something (or letting my son hold the handles) works fine.*Neither the screen or the back of the IPad have any direct protection against pressure, impact or scratching. Whilst the edges of the iPad are impressively padded, the screen and back of the iPad remain vulnerable to damage. The overlapping edges protect against dropping the iPad on the floor, however the screen itself is completely exposed should something hard be dropped on it, or it be dropped onto an uneven surface. None of the cases I looked at offered this type of protection, so I would simply advise to purchase a screen protector to add protection against scratching and low impacts. The IPad screen itself is supposed to be made from reinforced Gorilla Glass, but I would never want to put it to the test, and would always cover it with an extra layer of protection.*My only other negative, is that unlike some other models of child's case out there, the handles on the Fatframe are really only suitable for landscape orientation. There are other models out there with handles all around the IPad that support holding it in portrait mode as well.A major plus for the Fatframe (and possibly the clincher for me choosing it) is the car seat accessory. Whilst I'm still slightly concerned about whether this accessory is secure enough to retain its grip on the IPad in the event of a forceful stop (the iPad and case are fixed to the headrest only with velcro), it is certainly a very handy accessory, and built specifically for use with this particular case, so works like a charm! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best cover to protect your ipad from a toddler *by B***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 July 2015* Excellent product, very handy for little one with his butterfingers ! The ipad can fall down ten times, no damage!! He found the way to take the handles with his small hands very quickly.
