**Q: I live in a very warm climate yet my ac is on could that be  why my butter keeps falling out of bell?**
A: Either the butter isn't in the bell nice and tight or, yes, the room is too warm. I have that same problem, too, so i change my water every day, and stick the bell in the fridge on the warmest days. It never takes long to get it back to room temp, though.

**Q: Is it food grade porcelain?**
A: The butter dish is ceramic.

**Q: Is the color white or off white?**
A: Hi its almost white it has little brown flecks in it so it's almost off white.

**Q: Has anyone compared this to a more expensive butter keeper such as a butter bell? just wondering if i’m sacrificing flavor by spending less.**
A: The great thing about the Original Butter Bell crock brand is it will last forever! Much higher quality materials and durability. I've had mine for 20 years!!!
