And is it a strong hold to stop hair flying away** A: I'm afraid I have no Idea if it is water soluble.....it washes out ok and works well on my curly but fly away hair if I scrunch it really well. **Q: wait so if you have natural straight hair and you apply this to your hair, does it make it wavyish?** A: No, you have to have some curls to start with. It claims to boost your natural curls and I can honestly say that it does that and more. The curls last longer....I have curly hair and so do two of my friends. We all have different curls.
