Review: Brilliant for camping / motorhome - Very very good bowl. I wanted our dog to have water on the move in our campervan and this is the perfect solution. Originally I was using traditional dog bowl and it was a nightmare, even when not on the move one of us would step on it and we would have spillages daily. It's robust, spill proof (litrally I have to hold upside down and tilt around to empty) and perfect for cars etc to make sure there's always water avaliable. Our dog isn't greedy but I can imagine this will help also with a dog that is greedy splashing around because it allows only a certain amount at a time which is good. Other reviews mention the black peice struggle to pull off, not sure why you would need to pull it off aside from occasional clean and no issues with this my end. Highly reccomend this product its well worth money for anyone who's dog travels with them.

I understand she has gone on to sell in huge numbers, especially in the USA, and I can see why. This product really works for our dog and he quickly got used to drinking when on the move. It does exactly what they said it would and I have yet to find a drop spilt whilst driving around. The ingenious internal floating plate only allows a small amount into the bowl at any one time and then lowers to let more water up from the bottom. I am so pleased that, especially on hotter days (when we get them!), our dog can rehydrate anytime without us having to stop en-route. The large version has a generous 1.4 L capacity and we have found that adding a few ice cubes is not a problem as long as you don't exceed the fill level. So simple yet so effective. Wish we had been able to get one years ago for our previous dog and prevented the many incidents of slopped water in the car down the years. If your dog takes to it, I don't believe that there is anything out there, quite as good as the Road Refresher.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Do you have to disassemble to fill or can you add water slowly from the top?**
A: You just add the water, and do not have to take it apart.  The bowl has worked very well for my dogs.  It is a little a little larger than my other bowls which I also like.  I do use the floating plate because we sometime have the bowl in the RV or the car and it keeps the water from spilling.  Also, I have schnauzers and their beards don't get quite as wet with the floating plate.

**Q: Does this work for large dogs?  I am concerned that my black lab won't be able to get his snout in the whole to get water.**
A: The smallest dia. in the black ring is 116 mm (4.567 inch), plenty large enough for large dogs because they drink with their tong. Their snout won't be in the smallest opening unless maybe when the bow is nearly empty. We have two golden-lab mix sisters, large for their breed. 98 lbs and 102 lbs yet very lean. 2 yrs old they are still puppies fighting over everything. Even so, the Velcro prevented any tipping. The product works perfectly, no spills ever, only a few drips from their smiling faces. Hope this helps.

**Q: Does this help with messy drinkers? My lab gets water EVERYWHERE when he drinks his water.**
A: yes, it does. The dog can only lick the water from the floating ring. Its a different story if they put the paws in it. I use it in the car too. Also, when its hot I fill it half way with ice cubes and the inner ring floats nicely on it. My shepherd use to stick her whole face into the dish and she can't do it with this bowl

A: Do you mean BisFenol A? yes it is completely free  :)

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent quality

This is by far the best no spill water bowl we’ve had. We have a Doodle, hairy face with a beard, he drips like a hippo and this has cut that down by 80% I used to dab his face after each drink even though we had a lapping bowl but not now. The float device is one piece where as our old one came apart and allowed water to seep in which could get mouldy if you let it. This bowl is so easy to clean, it’s robust and should last years.
