There were no defrosting instructions, so I had to guess how long before I could set it on the table for him. He did enjoy it very much, so it was probably worth all the hassle in the end! Obviously you do need proper crackers for the legs, and I used the nutcrackers which worked well. He said the crab itself was "very nice".
