Pretty much straight out of the box you get a well engineered pedal that hasn't skimped on 'minor' components that actually turn out to be 'major' components because they determine how the other, larger, more elaborate constituent parts operate and respond. Just my personal preference but to my feet it feels more intuitive than a great many other more expensive pedals out there.
