**Q: How long does it take?**
A: Depends on the mixture but between 5-10 minutes.

**Q: How long does it take to make the waffles?**
A: To make the dough 5-7min, heat he pan 3-4min, cook one pan 5min aprox, which makes 4, so then can eat while you pour the next pan and leave to cook, don’t have stand on guard as with pancakes.

**Q: Does the plate come out to clean?**
A: No, It's a fixed plate, but can be cleaned with a damp cloth.

**Q: Has anyone tried potato waffles in this machine?**
A: Yes, works well with mash, flour, eggs etc but mash needs to be drier than normal. Also waffles harder to remove as the consistency is looser than sweet waffles. Need at least 10 minutes to dry and cook

It is a good purchase and I have been using this for a couple of years now - I use it around once every month. Very easy to use. A bit difficult to clean if you butter or oil it since you can separate the grill with the body so you have to be care when clean it to prevent water going into the machine. It is also non-stick so I don't need to use that much butter. i use my own timer to cook my batter rather than waiting for the light to turn green. I use it on high heat for around 3 minutes for my batter and they turn out nicely brown and crispy (not burnt).
