Clarks Montacute Hall, Mens Lace-up Flats

Shouldn't have been surprised at the quality of these shoes, they are Clarke's after all! Yes, very comfy. Yes, value for money (they were in the sale!). As for durability, that remains to be seen, but i have great hopes as they are well constructed with a good leather (?) insole and a nice tartan pattern fabric lining. Details not noticed online in the pictures! A great winter walking show that I won't stop wearing in the summer!

These shoes obviously need wearing in for comfort, because the soles of my feet feel as though they are treading on board. However, whilst I have marked these shoes as "fit as expected", I find that they do offer wiggle room for toes in the cap and across the insole. They will have to wear in to a more moulded comfortable fit, otherwise they will require some new insoles. .

Had this shoe for about 18 months and still feels and looks like new.Not in regular use so can still be a bit tight on at first.I have a broad foot so this style of fitting suits me.Cannot praise this shoe enough .,StyleBuildAnd endurance..Will last for ages ..Great value for money 10/10

i really like everything about these shoes. Clarks are normally a safe bet anyway but these shoes are of the highest quality and standard.the look is great, the quality is great, the feel when worn is great, they are sturdy but not bulky.even the detail on them is great.i would recommend to all.

Bought these as they were the nearest match to the last pair of Clarks I had.Size is to European standards. I have wide, flat feet and wear arch supports. These fit well.Have had these for a year now. Not put any polish on them. Wear them for part of every day to do the toughest jobs.They are wearing well. Except had to replace laces after a few months.Would I buy them again? 5 star yes.Hope this helps

I order these shoes for my husband 2 pairs at a time, they are great shoes, comfortable, hardwearing good looking, but sadly it wasn't until after the returns deadline that he opened the second box of shoes to find that we had been sent an odd pair one shoe was a different make to the other.

I have had this particular show before, and found them very comfortable, and with a long life. I went to my local Clarks store, and the nearest match was priced at £85.00. I'm pleased with entire purchase.
