Goes from a small spot to a wide spread of light. Reported to be waterproof, would not like to test it but happy enough that it will surive the rain showers we get in the UK. Comes in a nice protective shockproof case with a battery charger.Arrived with a little stickyness at the tail end of the torch, not sure if bubble wrap has stuck to it? easily cleaned off though.
