NOT THE TYPE FOR PHONES. **Q: Is the scroll "clicky" or smooth?** A: The one I received has bumps as you scroll, does not scroll smoothly. **Q: why doesn't it work?** A: Not sure if this will help, but I'll share my experience. Every now and then mine will stop working in the middle of doing something. The charge for me lasts about 2 weeks. When I plug it in it still will not work till charged a bit. The other thing you can try is change the USB port you have the receiver plugged in. Lastly, I've had the tiny on/off switch on the bottom get knocked to off position.
