Bought for university going grandson who has extensively use the recipes and he rates it highly.

Very reasonably priced cookery book with a great selection of recipes. I bought if for my grandson who has very little cookery experience. Unfortunately cookery in senior school was for only a few months.I returned the book as I felt the dishes were too complicated for someone who cooks very little at home.Ideal book for someone who has some experience of cooking at home or school.

Lovely book with loads of very useful information and tips about budgeting, food prep, nutrition etc, and some absolutely amazing sounding recipies! In addition to these positives I also nticed on the back of the book that it retails for £10 so it's an absolute bargain for £3 on amazon, making it even more student friendly. I've had a flick through and as I said the recipies do sound amazing! However I did notice that a lot of the ingredients are expected to be fresh and some recipies all in all are a little out of the average students budget, time and effort amounts. But overall I do think this is an excellent essential for everyone going to/continuing with university. Im very excited to take it with me, and even if I do just use it for some ideas and not follow it perfectly, I cant wait to use it to make some great food with/for my housemates.Another thing that I do really like about it is that it has little keys at the top for how much the meal costs and how long it takes, which makes finding a recipie that suits you on a particular day much much easier.
