Without toe-straps, these toe-clips facilitate the placement of the foot on the pedal while optimising the pedalling force and increasing the comfort of the cyclist. They are supplied with mounting hardware. L/XL: for shoe size larger than UK-8 (EU-42 / US-9) S/M : for shoe size less than or equal to UK-8 (EU-42 / US-9) Installation Tips To install a toe clip on your bike, make sure you have pedals ready to accept the two necessary screws. You will need a flathead screwdriver and a size 8 wrench. Install the toe clip on the front of the pedal. Make sure the open end is positioned correctly over the tip of your shoe. Install the screws and tighten them using the screwdriver and wrench. Review: Look good, quality brand, great value - These fitted fine onto my MLS Sylvan pedals. I originally had a steel half toe cage but it rusted a little and broke, so these being plastic of course won't have the rust issue although durability is to be seen, they seem strong and sturdy and match my bicycle colour scheme fine. They do touch the ground when hanging freely so I would expect scratches and wear will inevitably occur due to the bottom bracket not being higher and the pedals not shorter than 170 mm. They are aesthetically pleasing and were great value so I can't complain, bought two pairs for two bicycles. Review: These have changed my life!! - One of the pear purposes I’ve ever made. I used to struggle on hills as I couldn’t stand up on the bike. These clips have completely changed that. I’m able to stand ok and pedal up hills which has been transformational for my riding and my fitness. They are easy to instal and really sturdy but my only complaint is the nuts unscrew from the bolt really easily so a few times I got home and the bolt was gone. So I’ve had to put in screws. Works just as well. Highly recommend despite this. Thank you ## Features - Resin footpegs without strap - Black color - S/M size - For shoes up to 42 ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B000AO9K9S | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | 11,380 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) 4 in Cycling Pegs | | Bike Type | Mountain Bike | | Brand | ZEFAL | | Brand Name | ZEFAL | | Colour | Black | | Country Of Origin | France | | Customer Reviews | 4.2 out of 5 stars 5,585 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00643187003176, 03420580451004 | | Included Components | Pair of Toe-clips & Mounting Hardware | | Item Dimensions L x W | 8.2L x 6.7W centimetres | | Item Type Name | Zefal 45 Half Toe-Clips - Black, Small/Medium | | Item Weight | 46 Grams | | Item weight | 46 Grams | | Manufacturer | Zefal | | Manufacturer Part Number | 0451 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | 2 Year Manufacture | | Material | Resin | | Material Type | Resin | | Model Number | 95301 | | Product Style | Half Toe-Clips | | Product dimensions | 8.2L x 6.7W centimetres | | Style | Half Toe-Clips | | Thread Size | 9/16 inches | | UPC | 643187003176 | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** ZEFAL - **Colour:** Black - **Item weight:** 46 Grams - **Material:** Resin - **Product dimensions:** 8.2L x 6.7W centimetres ## Images ![Zefal Toe Clips 45 – Half Toe-Clips for Flat Pedals – Strap‑Free Design, Enhanced Pedalling Efficiency & Foot Stability – Includes Mounting Hardware - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51Pok6k7YCL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Why are the s/m version taller and wider (though shorter) than the l/xl version?** A: I bought a few s/m because I like to keep the ball of my foot to be on the pedal. But I've seen other bikes with the l/xl version and they didn't look narrower. Maybe it's the photograph that gives that impression. **Q: Can you recommend pedals that these will fit** A: All metal pedals should be ok. I fitted them to resin pedals, but I needed to drill them out a bit **Q: I am a size 42 women’s, would I need medium or large please?** A: I'm 43 European male and I prefer the small size because it keeps the ball of my feet on the pedal. I don't like my feet being further forward. **Q: Do they come as a pair?** A: Yes. These toe clips come as a pair ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Look good, quality brand, great value *by V***Y on 8 April 2025* These fitted fine onto my MLS Sylvan pedals.
