Adding more water and a translucent colour with depth still there not loosing the intensity. Adding more water still colour still true. I was amazed at how little product I had used. I practiced with three colours the terracotta,yellow ochre and sandstone. They blending and have dried beautifully. I'm saving the practice sheet as it's too good to scrap. Even where a just dabbed around in no particular way, it's dried lovely. I'm keeping for a future project. These crystals used as a watercolour will last forever. There's lots' more techniques to apply. Sprinkle them. Using the edge if a brush or punch a hole in the lids and sprinkle like salt. Again a small amount is needed. A tip ; if you can see the grains you've laid too many down. Spray water from a spritzer bottle and ' Hey Presto ' a firework display of exploding colour. Absolutely amazing. If you want a longer lasting stain just use a non toxic acrylic varnish afterwards.
