For example lying down on the bench all pulling on the handles like front crawl?** A: No, a front crawl action cannot be achieved, both handles have to be pulled together. I guess you could simulate a breast stroke action pulling out to the sides. If you take a look on you tube there are a number of videos for using this machine and very similar equipment, all much of a muchness. These show a whole range of exercises that can be performed for all sections of the body and will give you a better idea if this equipment is suitable for what you want. **Q: Does the bed slide up and down? do the foot post remove ?** A: Yes the pad/bed slides up and down on a rail much like a pilates reformer. The foot post is removeable and the height of support is adjustable to allow steeper angles. The whole unit folds up and stands upright but could be knocked over if small children are in the room. **Q: Is this item suitable for taller people? I am 6 feet 2.** A: Yes it's ok but make sure you sit right at the top when doing the chest workout as the cables are not that long. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good choice *by A***A on 12 July 2018* Great machine, can exercise all body, easy to use. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Decent value for money *by L***F on 18 December 2017* My physio recommended a total trainer for strengthening my weak knee joint as i can't do bodyweight squats without pain the next day. This machine is pretty good for that and a lot cheaper than a total trainer - though it unfortunately lacks the large foot rest for squats and is a bit small for someone around 180 cm tall. The user manual came with charts and data none of them showed what the percentage of body weight is that you are using at each level. If the manufacturer provided those (as Total Gym apparently do) it would be really useful.
