Since we don't sell the snormender, we can't make a judgement here, but the main difference lies in the advancement of the lower jaw, which can be set in 8 steps with the Snormender. The ZQuiet device does not allow an individually adjustable advancement, but the device is delivered in two different sizes here - device #1 has an advancement of approx. 2 mm, device # 2 has a feed of approx. 6 mm, so it can be used immediately without any adjustment. No problem since this device does NOT force your mouth shut. It would be a lie to say you have full use of your mouth, but you could drink and talk with it (just a bit messy and hard to articulate). If you buy this, don’t get discouraged by the discomfort in the first week - it does get better - and it is much less than others I tried. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Immediate result *by P***L on 18 June 2018* Started with the smaller one, worked from the first night with no jaw/muscle aches, only the feeling of pressure on my lower teeth the following morning, which wore off in an hour or so.Wearing it generates a lot of saliva, but usually it's not a problem.After about 3 weeks the smaller one stopped being effective so I switched to the larger one. Again, no jaw/muscle aches, just the occasional pressure on the teeth in the morning.My wife is delighted, after putting up with my loud snoring for many years.My only disappointment is that it doesn't feel like I sleep any better, I was hoping I would wake feeling more refreshed. There is no doubt, though, that I am sleeping better as I no longer get prodded awake for disturbing my wife... ### ⭐ Didn't work for me, and uncomfortable *by R***N on 26 December 2018* Did not work for me at all. The idea seems reasonable but this didn't help my snoring at all. I use SnoreLab on my phone and this has no effect. Also, it's uncomfortable -- my teeth would feel sore after using it for a night. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Works...somewhat! *by A***T on 5 September 2018* Does seem to reduce snoring but not totally eliminate. 3rd set bought. Despite following all care instructions the devices don't last the 6 months plus they're supposed to...more like 3 months max. After this plastic has become so soft it no longer has any effect. Also annoying that you have to buy both devices every time & can't buy them individually. After first time when you work out which device you need you don't need the other device so every subsequent time you're paying for 2 devices, 1 of which you will just throw away. In summary work fairly well but will probably shop around for an alternative that lasts a bit longer.
