I have not found they have shrunk in the wash, but I found that by putting them in a small mesh garment bag in the machine (and in the tumble dryer too) this preserves them from bobbling or shrinking. The only negative thing I can say about them is that they come with a little label sewn on each, which seemed a bit unnecessary to me. I simply unpicked this so that the pads could be reversible.
