As recommended by the instructions (and because of playing with small children, 6 & 8) we started by playing on the political map with the large pyramids and with the easy questions, and even though me and my wife have very good geographical knowledge there was still a good number of questions where we had no idea of the answer, so there is plenty to learn for the adults. The easy questions were of course harder for the children, but they were relevant enough for their level of knowledge that they could make some educated guesses (with some hints provided here and there). And because the game has a mechanism which can punish just blindly copying other people, but also makes sure that people don't fall too far behind, it was a fun and satisfying game for everyone. If you are more than 4 players, you can play as teams, which is even the more interesting. I find that 4 players is more fun especially when three players decide to follow the first that got the answer wrong:) There are 8 playing pieces of two sizes. You use the larger pieces when you are learning and you don't have to be very precise. When you get more comfortable, you can use the smaller pieces to pinpoint the precise location you are looking for. The rules are flexible so you can make it as simple or as hard to play depending on your expertise.Hope this helps. **Q: What aged group would this suit** A: This is a great game for age 12 to adult, but younger children who are interested in geography are also able to play on their own.
