When this ink gets wet it goes semi transparent. This ink is white in appearance but become translucent when exposed to water and then reverts back to a white state when dry. A water based ink for paper, plastic, film and board substrates. Supplied as a 1 part ink system ready formulated and easy to use allowing flexibility in application and optimisation in appearance of printed article. I'm trying to use it on a mug but it covers poorly, it's a weird consistency and being white you need a couple of coats, but then it doesn't go transparent properly. Good idea but not there yet, I don't think. I also tried the film, but it's basically the same as sticking a white paper label over something and soaking it. A single coat is slightly translucent. Best application is two coats with differing mesh counts or slightly different overlapping patterns if screen printing. All coats are white so the patterns aren't visible if they overlap properly but this helps better obscure the hidden image when it's in the dry state. The color change (nearly translucent) lasts a few minutes until the material begins to dry. Again, didn't use this specific product on the final but purchased it while experimenting. Best! **Q: Would this work on fabric or leather?** A: On leather i don't know, but on fabric it should work.
