It's pretty heavy and bulky but remarkably easy to steer and gives a smooth ride as long as you are on a relatively flat surface. It does bounce around a bit when in the rough, so if your dog is fragile or in pain, it's best to stick to smoother paths. The seller went out of his/her way to help me when I struggled to fix the stabilizing cross-bar (there's a technique that isn't mentioned in the instructions) - you are in safe hands with this purchase. My rating would have been five stars if the stabilizing bar was easier to fit, there was cushioning on the floor of the trailer (there is nothing on the floor - I had to purchase a memory foam cushion), a brake for the wheels, and a better fitting handle (it wiggles around a bit). But all-in-all, I'm pretty happy with my purchase.
