As you can see from my images I opted not to mess about doing all the different colours for the containers, so purists look away now! I got this as I wanted something to practice airbrushing on. The main part of the ship and containers went together with great ease, no need for any filler at all. The tower was a bit more tricky, but I a little time and sandpaper with some white plastic filler the job was done. There is SO much detail in this model but that was not the purpose of me building it, it was purely for airbrush practice. As models go for the money it is my view it offers amazing value. If you like painting detail then you will get weeks of pleasure out of making this. Also, and this is important, you can get an amazing fininsh out of the box, no need, like with many ships, for all the aftermarket expensive stuff. If this does happen the container block looks not so good. I had to dispose of 4 stacks of containers as they were slightly out of alignment. Possibly the manufactures could find a better assembly technique for the container blocks. **Q: Does the kit include everything you need to make it just like the photo? i.e. paint and decals?** A: you get a choice of decals for different ships, you don't get any paint or glue with the product, also the ship comes with a full depth hull which you have to make up, you can trim it down to waterline yourself though. **Q: What scale is this please** A: 1/700. A decent scale model. The only problems I had in building it were the containers one has to be particularly careful in constructing the 'boxes' as the slightest mistake means that you do not get the containers at 90 degrees......a bit fiddly to say the least. **Q: does it float on water?** A: It is a plastic kit. Paints and glue are not included in the kit.
