Disassemble the Dyson, take the 3 screws out that hold the original Dyson battery and replace it with the adapter, that’s it.Dyson8 wall charger can still be used to hold the vacuum, simply flip up the part of the wall charger the vacuum plugs into. You’ll won’t be needing that anymore. Also you’ll have to take out the Makita battery.I keep the Makita 3.0ah 18v battery and a Makita 18v battery charger in the closet with the vacuum.Always a full battery ready this way. It lasts vastly longer than the Dyson battery.
