I am doing some diy home remodeling and felt this would come in handy. So many other ones are crazy expensive and It is not like I am going to be using it as much as a contractor. So I said what the heck I will get this one.My boyfriend laughed at me when I got it . He was like you don't need that. Well he has used it a few times now so I think I was right in getting it.This is a handy little tool to have around. It works great you can see the light no matter the time of day. You can lock it and level it yourself or let the little thing level it's self out. That's what I normally do.

Very pleased,, particularly for the price.But get eye protection for green laser. It is a class II (it’s much brighter than a class I laser pointer). It is not eye safe without protection. (Don’t get class Iii protection, they are so dark that you won’t be able to see the laser line).Great inside. For outside, I had to use reflector tape on a paint stick and enhancing glasses (green glasses), unless I was pretty close to the unit.

I was very impressed with this little laser level. I will only use it for small, interior projects. Tile, suspended ceilings, interior steel on commercial buildings, and it's perfect for that. I've already used it once, and I am very satisfied.

If your looking to find something to make your life a little easier for a couple projects. This could be the the tool for you.The good.It works. For the price I honestly wasn't sure if it could even do that. I didn't vuy it for the self leveling feature, but it's there. I did try it just to see and it's fairly accurate but I recommend double checking. It's also bright. I could clearly see the line during the day time with lights on in the room. Comes with a half decent soft case to keep it in.The bad.Outdated batteries. It uses a battery that came out in the 80s. Mayne 90s. They were are popular in digital cameras. These batteries are still available but you will likey not find them in stores, you are going to have to go online and find them. But... it's nice that's it's not an internal battery so if you use it once and let it sit for a year or 2 you can get a new battery if it fails. The unit itself you can feel how cheap it is. But I mean.... it's cheap, what do you expect?As long as you're not buying it for a job or to use often. This will suit the average DIY person.

It's not the greatest quality, but what do you expect for the money it's not super bright but for home indoor can't be out done for the accessories and extra battery that comes with it. They recharge good. They seem to hold up so I've had it for about 5 months now
