I have found this washes well, it is sturdy and strong and perfect for everyday use. So far it has not discoloured and I have also washed it in the dishwasher. It has a non slip handle for easy gripping and a hole in the handle where you could put a piece of string and hang it it. My spatula fits in my cutlery drawer when not in use or in the dishwasher. I would buy OXO products initially as I have arthritis in my right hand but they are much more, all of the OXO products that I have are so beautifully designed and actually do what they claim so don't just get left in the draw after a few uses.
