I'm a carpenter been doing it for 27 years. I've always used a knife to sharpen my pencils until now. Use a battery drill on low gear works perfect every time. I think people are using it wrong on some of the reviews it's a bit like when you see a Novice, DIYer use a drill to put a screw in without knowing how to use a drill properly they rip the drill bit and screws to shreds....It's all in the trigger action...We've all tried it at work and it works perfect every time.
