Perfect for fixing into a wooden item Another quality part made in the UK from solid brass. Simply screw this into your wooden item (9mm hole required approx.) Pre made cable for simple wiring. This Italian made cable cord set comes with a UK plug and an inline switch. The cable is 2.5m in length with approx. 800mm from the switch to the unwired end. Cord grip included! Tia** A: I don't think the cable would be long enough. Ideal for a table lamp. This version you screw into the lamp from memory about 1 cm width, as this was used by my son so don't have it here to look at. As apposed to this screw attachent you can get an attachment which the base is about an inch wide with 3 screw holes to fasten to the lamp. Still concerned the size length of cable you get won't be long enough. Get sdvice from electricial shop. **Q: what bulb fitting is this? I want to use an edison bulb but need to know if bayonet or not.** A: Yes it is an ordinary size bayonet type. Had some lamps from abroad that needed wiring up. Bought 3 one of the three switches happened to be faulty, got repaired rest of the kit was fine. **Q: Is there a E27 lamp holder version?** A: Don't really know, don't think so. Not seen one as I was not looking for that size.
