This fantastic edible food paint from Rainbow Dust is a "must have" item for todays cake makers. Incredibly versatile and available in a huge range of colours. Coverage Guide: Using the EasyCover Sponge, we used half a bottle (approx 12ml) of paint to cover an 8 inch round cake (3 inch deep) which was sat on a 10 inch drum, also covered in sugarpaste. We applied 2 coats to get an even metallic finish. Ingredients: Water, Cornflour, Preservative (E202), Citric Acid, Soy Lecithin, E555, E171 (Patent Pending) Label Claims: Nut Free, GM Free, Suitable for Vegetarians, Kosher & Halal

I have a Bachelors of Fine Arts backed with 4 years of painting and, let me tell you, I wish I had paints like this to work with in college! The paint poured out of the bottle like liquid gold. It loaded onto the brush with ease. It was smooth and glowed during application, and dried quickly, giving it a gold leaf finish. And I didnt even taste it! It was too easy and really took my first time fault line cake to a professional level. Everyone asked where I had got it and when I said "I made it!" they were so impressed! My co worker thought I had used gold leaf, but nope! It was this amazing edible paint! I can't wait to use it to make my Valentine cookies! I highly recommend this product for professionals and amateurs to really put that perfect finishing touch on any treat!

It's beautiful, has amazing coverage, and DOES paint chocolate! Paints well on dark and light colors; I used the silver for painting frozen buttercream. I love that this stuff is edible, and it will not make your brushes goopy or stiff! The product also arrived much earlier than expected, so that was a big bonus! I HIGHLY recommend this stuff, and hope to see more colors added soon, including matte, because I plan to buy them all!
