An extra 1/2" in the width or a better designed opening would have made all the difference. I would suggest you make the bag at least 15" x 12" and test it to make sure a 1" or maybe even a 1 1/2' binder will slide through the opening. Binders such as this are often used for living wills, insurance, etc. I'll use it for other things but will continue looking for a larger bag.
