I'd tried fake tans before but they never work. I'm a bloke and have hairy legs...fake tans just don't work for me. Initially I was pleased with this self tanning lotion, just spread it over the area you want to darken, wait 15-20 minutes and shower. No nasty smell and after a couple of days, the edge was taken away from my snow white legs.The problem was that after showering I stepped into shorts so there would be no rubbing off of the 'tan' and I would continue on with my day. (I work from home so I can where shorts all day long). So the day came for my holiday, my legs were an acceptable light tan and ready not to be pointed at by the beach crowd that I was about to join. The big mistake came when I put on trousers for my journey. A 2 hour drive to the airport, 3 hours hanging about at said airport, 4 hour flight, 2 hour coach journey to my destination in a bus with no air-con in 90-95 degree heat and a 20 minute walk to my apartment had made me sweat like a fool. So, no surprise this moisture had transferred to my legs and my trousers acted like emery cloth. You can imagine the result. My legs were back to their milky best. My fault...should have worn shorts.The product does work to some extent, but take care not to be an idiot like me and keep you parts free from the possibility of rubbing against clothes. There isn't a lot of lotion in the tube either. Two legs and 7 applications later and it was gone. It works well with no patches or streaks...as long as you don't cover up on long journeys! ### ⭐⭐⭐ Does work if used before bed with no extra products after shower! *by D***B on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 March 2019* So I was compelled to buy this due to positive reviews. And yes it does work, however here are some things to bare in mind.I was using at first before my morning shower, easy to use for sure! However then I’d put my normal creams on and stuff and then go about my day, rush hour, lunch time gym and second shower etc... I found that not much changed at all. I started to notice a difference when applied at night time, shower as normal with soaps and stuff but not much exfoliating, then just leave over night with no extra creams on tops - that’s when I finally saw a light tan come through.However my BF says I now look orange and as I’m naturally brown (from South America) it’s probably not the best self-tanner for ppl with a darker skin tones. Still if used correctly it definitely does work! ### ⭐⭐⭐ No Smell *by A***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 July 2019* There is not a lot in the bottle, I have used 3 times just on arms, legs and face but showered in between, given a slight glow but not a Tan.It may have worked better if I used this continually perhaps?I have probably 1 more use then that's it.
