No, but it fits on the motorcycles listed on our Fitment Chart (found under User Guide PDF) as long as your throttle has 3 mm of space between the throttle housing and grip flange. Some motorcycles on our Fitment Chart may need the rubber grip flange pulled back to achieve the necessary 3 mm of space for the ATLAS Throttle Lock. What’s the difference between a throttle lock and traditional cruise control? A throttle lock holds your throttle position using friction but not always your speed, whereas traditional cruise control maintains a constant speed but doesn't hold your throttle position. This sounds a bit confusing, so we will explain. The ATLAS Throttle Lock uses a friction pad to apply pressure against your throttle housing when the engagement button is pressed in. Think of a brake pad (friction pad) pressing against a brake rotor (throttle housing). This friction is what holds your throttle position. If you are on a flat, straight road, the ATLAS Throttle Lock will also maintain your exact speed. This will continue until you approach a hill, at which point you will need to adjust your throttle manually. You can either leave the unit engaged and rotate the throttle with the added friction, or disengage the unit and return to your factory throttle response. Other designs force you to decelerate when disengaging their units. No more lurching on the freeway. Ergonomic and Intuitive: Using non-dominant fingers, twisting or reaching to set a throttle lock is dangerous for obvious reasons. The ATLAS is activated with your thumb and is always within reach. The ATLAS Doesn't Require Grip Space: Other designs demand a portion of your grip. The ATLAS simply mounts to the throttle tube between the grip and the throttle housing, leaving you with a full grip. Bolts on within 10 minutes: During installation, there's no need to remove grips, handguards, heated grips, bar end mirrors... the ATLAS works perfectly with them all. Should I buy the Bottom Kit or the Top Kit for my motorcycle? First, is there enough room for the ATLAS? All you need is a gap of 3mm or greater between the grip and the throttle housing. That's roughly 3 bank cards thick. Nearly every motorcycle has a throttle tube and a throttle housing. The ATLAS mounts to the throttle tube, which allows the ATLAS to rotate with your throttle, and most importantly your thumb. Once the ATLAS is engaged, a friction pad on a stopper arm hinges out from the ATLAS and presses against side of the throttle housing. That friction pad is what holds the ATLAS in place. You'll want the Bottom Kit... If there’s a heated grip wire that comes out the top half of the rubber grip flange. If you have more than 1.5 inches (38mm) of clearance between the inner plastic throttle tube (under the rubber grip) and the gas tank at a full right turn. If there's a bulge, bracket or object sticking out of the top half of the throttle housing that would interfere with the body of the ATLAS. If there's no other interferences, then it's a personal preference. You'll want the Top Kit... If there’s a heated grip wire that comes out the bottom half of the rubber grip flange. If you have less than 1.5 inches (38mm) of clearance between the inner plastic throttle tube (under the rubber grip) and the gas tank at a full right turn. If there's a bulge, bracket or object sticking out of the bottom half of the throttle housing that would interfere with the body of the ATLAS. Tell me more about the Friction Pads. Review: Great Cruise Control Device for Motorcycles - I bought this throttle lock for my motorcycle to use on long trips. It works with friction to lock the throttle where your want it. It comes with four friction pads, so it should work on just about any motorcycle. It is high quality, made of medal and is easy to install. It's not cheaply priced, but at just under $170 it should work within any budget. The hardest part of installing was determining which friction pad to use. Just watch the videos that are available, and installation will be a breeze. I installed mine in less than an hour. It is also easy to use. Just use your thumb to engage, or disengage. It's not meant for use in city riding where there is a lot of changing gears, but it is great once you're cruising out on the open road. I recommend this product to others.

I contacted Atlas and asked if they would do an exchange. They emailed me prepaid postage and I shipped mine back. The turn around time after they received the one I sent them was about a day. All told it took less than two weeks to do the exchange and it went smoothly with no hassle. I was very pleased with the customer service. The product itself seems to be of a high quality build. The instillation instructions are clear and work as they are written. I believe there are also videos available online. The product is very well engineered both in terms of instillation and operation. Once you figure out the correct friction pad to use the instillation only takes a few minutes and it operates as a fairly simple friction lock. It does a good job of holding the throttle in place and can easily be twisted back to off in an emergency without needing to turn the lock off. The instructions say to use the largest friction pad that will fit. However you need to test it and make sure that if you twist the throttle on it will snap all the way back as long as the lock is off. On my instillation a small rubber seam on the throttle housing was just enough to catch on the friction pad and prevent the throttle from snapping back. It was easily fixed by using a smaller pad. This was barely worth noting, but I suppose if someone was in a rush and didn't test it properly it could cause a problem.

**Q: Works on stock 06 honda shadow aero?**
A: Installed on a 2001 Shadow Ace. I didn't think it worked very well at locking the throttle. It did kind of work for a while then it flew off of the bike on a trip back from the Dragon. Even if I used thread locker on the mounting screws it still did not work that great. Especially for the big $$$ I paid.

**Q: Will this work for a 2019 Can Am Ryker?**
A: Hello! Yes, it will absolutely work. We have confirmed fitment of the Top and Bottom Kits on the 2019 Can Am Ryker. 

If you have a heated grip wire on the top of the grip flange, then order the Bottom Kit. If the heated grip wire is on the bottom of the grip flange, then order the Top Kit. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

**Q: Does this work for a 2021 Yamaha my-07?**
A: Yes it does! Either the Top Kit or the Bottom Kit will mount and function, but some bikes of this model might have tight fuel tank clearance when turning the bars to the right. You will want to check fuel tank clearance by rotating the bars full right, then measuring from the fuel tank to the base of the plastic throttle tube in between the rubber grip flange and the throttle cable housing. The measurement needs to be at least 1.5" (38mm) for a Bottom Kit to fit without contacting the fuel tank. If you don't have the space, choose the Top Kit. Let us know if you have any questions!

I ordered the Bottom Kit, but found out after receiving it that I needed the Top Kit version. I contacted Atlas and asked if they would do an exchange. They emailed me prepaid postage and I shipped mine back. The turn around time after they received the one I sent them was about a day. All told it took less than two weeks to do the exchange and it went smoothly with no hassle. I was very pleased with the customer service. The product itself seems to be of a high quality build. The instillation instructions are clear and work as they are written. I believe there are also videos available online. The product is very well engineered both in terms of instillation and operation. Once you figure out the correct friction pad to use the instillation only takes a few minutes and it operates as a fairly simple friction lock. It does a good job of holding the throttle in place and can easily be twisted back to off in an emergency without needing to turn the lock off. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Needs better instructions - otherwise works great

Expensive, but it works great, after you figure out how to install it. The trick to getting it on correctly. is to understand how it works and where the pressure point is. Uses a tork screw (comes with the wrench) for installation and post adjustments .. so don't lose it! This is my third set .. for my (3) bikes. I've tried cheaper models, only to almost wreck my motorcycle when they don't release properly or blow my wrist out fighting the throttle.
