The Albany uses a powerful 2W solar panel enabling it to run for up to 10 hours a night in Spring, Summer and Autumn. The solar panel is on the roof of the sentry box that the statue is in. In the winter months it lasts for a few hours and I turn it off for a couple of day s to give it a good recharge.
