A: I would use pop rivets with FENDER washers.

**Q: Can I safely use this to line the cabinet space for the dishwasher to dampen the sound?**
A: Yes, as long as you have enough clearance.

**Q: Will this work for under rug? I live in an apartment**
A: You would need to cover the entire floor (wall to wall) with MLV for it to be effective.

**Q: If I stick this to my wall, will it block the noise I make from the other side of the wall?**
A: Not entirely sure, but one would think it would.  Sound is vibrations in the air and this material absorbs the vibrations so you would think it will work both ways.
