My filter is an upflow filter - a clear tube approx 110mm diameter x 1200mm tall, this is followed with an Eazy pod. The UV unit is approx 600mm long and the pump is at ground level some 3000mm away. The pipework is mainly 40mm solid with the occasional rubber flexi connector. At minimum setting (15w), the pump struggles to push water through the whole system when starting afresh so I tend to prime the system on maximum setting (25w). Once flowing, I can reduce the setting to minimum for continuous running, this also allows for maximum 'hang' time of anything passing through the vertical UV which, judging by the colour of my filter media (K+) works really effectively. The pond is in full sun with no shade and the water is very clear so the whole system is working a treat and the pump is obviously doing a great job of pulling everything out of the pond that shouldn't be in there. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent pump *by T***D on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 26 June 2023* A little expensive but this is an excellent pump - efficient with decent flow and adjustable setting. Compared to my previous pump I hope to save the additional cost in a year or so.Not tested the safety features (dry running/blocked). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best pond pump on the market *by D***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 28 July 2022* Perfect flow. Worked out of the box. Easy to set up. Low cost to run. I'm using it on the 15 watts per hour setting which is 50 watts per hour less than my old 30 year old Blagdon pump it replaced.
