The handles are sturdy and work really well. I like the thicker handles. The handles are a hard plastic but the work well for me, better than ones I’ve previously had. They do the job and the price was great. People are right though, there are ridges on the pliers so it’s not ideal for jewelry making but as I said, it depends on what you’re using them for. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Okay for simple things *by E***A on Reviewed in the United States on September 3, 2018* These are a good simple hobby pliers. The jaws are great, but will do. They are pretty durable, just not precision sryle pliers. Handles are made from a plastic material and are a little rough on seams. Product smelled bad - had to wipe down and leave in hot garage to reduce smell (still has slight odor from handles). If you need expect quality pliers or great precision these will not be what you want. If you need some hobby pliers for arts/crafts with simple wire bending or crimping these are fine. ### ⭐ THEY DO NOT HOLD UP *by Z***8 on Reviewed in the United States on July 1, 2021* I cannot recommend these pliers. The are already damaged after making one trout lure. The cutting edge on the side cutters are dented and damaged. The Needle nose pliers teeth are flattening as well.
