I needed it just for listening to the spoken word for my elderly relative and i also needed a remote control so that they weree not having to constantly get up and down. It is simple to operate with a few Function modes, CD, Bluetooth, USB, Line In and FM Radio so is m,ore than capable of playing from most devices. I have tested the FM Radio and it searched and found a few of the popular channels and sounded fine. I also tested the CD Player and again it had all that i needed for a comfortable and easy listening experience. The only reason i gave it 4 Stars and not 5 was that the Remote Control doesn't come with batteries, not an absolute disaster as all functions have appropriate buttons on the player but as i specifically paid the extra for a Remote Contol I was a little suprised not to receive them in the bundle. However that aside I would recommend this unit to anyone who wants a useable and well funtioned media player.
