I found with the original strap it was rigid and tight and lasted a few months before snapping. This feels better for me, its alot softer. We'll see if it lasts longer than the original strap :) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Metal insert might not last *by M***8 on 4 July 2019* Unlike the original this band has a metal insert into which the watch fits. I am a bit concerned that I might bend or even break this as it takes a fair amount of fiddling about to get the watch in place. That said I find the buckle strap much better than the poppers of the TomTom band.
