Review: Utterly amazing - First off - Kudos to Mira for selling just the components you need - rather than only selling it packaged with all of the chrome accessories which are always ridiculously overpriced - and unnecessary for most people. I've just installed this to replace my Bristan equivalent - which we've had no end of trouble with, and after 9 months I'm returning that to desertcart (it wakes downstairs up!). This is super silent - really sleek and really configurable. I love the fact that they've put effort into the options - like being able to adjust the lowest flow rate setting to suite your installation/water pressures. It's well thought out, and highly recommended. Connectors are bog standard 15mm copper pipes - you can use the included ones, but I've used a combination of compression joints to connect onto the existing pipework, and JG Speedfit since the run to the shower is plastic. No problems at all. All in all took an hour to install, including removal of the old bristan unit.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good whilst it works

Good whilst it works... Excellent pressure, excellent temperature, but mine has gone wrong twice in 6 months now, due to a known-fault where a valve in the mixer keeps sticking more and more regularly until you only get cold water. Luckily, there is a 5 year guarantee on the Platinum range, so hopefully, by the time 5 years is up, Mira will have fixed it permanently. Mine is ceiling fed, incidentally, but everything else is the same as pictured.
