The only negative thing I can say about it is that the instruction manual has a point where it’s no longer helpful, it needs to be edited. Since this piece can be put together two different ways depending on which side you want the curved side on, I believe that’s where the instruction manual loses its footing and you have to kind of figure it out for yourself. Since it was 2am and I had already constructed, deconstructed, and constructed multiple times wondering how I kept getting it wrong, I decided to just work with how I had it at that moment. It worked! On the backside underneath the main portion there’s supposed to be two metal bars that form an X — I’m now assuming that may be for aesthetic purposes and not stability as I originally thought because it’s been weeks and I’ve had zero issues. My new work space has me even more excited to start school again. Overall, it’s simplistic design meshes well with any environment, it’s simple to put together, it’s really affordable, there’s shelves included for extra storage spaces, it’s offered in a couple different styles, lightweight yet sturdy, and the surface is easy to clean. No matter what the project is, what more could you ask for? I highly recommend!

**Q: Do you need to put brackets to hold desk?**
A: No brackets needed.  just follow instructions on assembly and enjoy.  My wife works from home on this desk and it works out great.  The desk can also be reversed during assembly to be opposite of photo.

**Q: Can the satchel go on the smaller side of the desk?**
A: No it’s not designed to work on that side, but I personally like the side that it’s on its very convenient lol you could also maybe put holes there yourself and modify it if you’re good with stuff like that, but I wouldn’t risk it cause though the wood is pretty sturdy I think it’ll be easy to mess up or crack

**Q: How much weight can the desk top handle?**
A: I bought this for my daughter, she lives too far away to observe this.  I know she has her laptop and a monitor on it as well as her paperwork with no problem.

**Q: Where can I find instructions? There were no diagrams or instructions included, I can't find it online and the support email has not responded.**

I almost didn’t purchase because of some of the reviews. The desk fits perfectly in my bedroom. The box was not damaged, was delivered a day early and all parts were in the package. The instructions are pictures which wasn’t bad (but pay attention to the lettering of each part and the screws used in each section). There are instructions for the “L” portion to be on the left or right (I choose the right, those instructions were after instructions for the left). Took about an hour to assemble. The screws and holes all matched up perfectly. It’s sturdy and durable. Not too big with plenty of leg room and storage. I think the manufacturer saw the bad reviews and improved all of those issues. I really like the desk. I also bought one for my daughter in white.
