For my Tannoy Little Red speakers (by no means little), I've been using granite cutting boards placed on thick open-cell foam and that worked very well. However I swapped the Reds for the larger, heavier Tannoy Cheviots and they were too much. The bass was booming from the cupboards they were placed on. So I took a punt and bought theses sorbathene things. They work brilliantly! 4 under each speaker, straight onto the cupboards, and almost no vibration is transmitted. Bass is now tight and strong and the whole sonic image is focused. 22 pounds VERY well spent. I have used platforms with a sorbothane component in the feet before, but I have never tried these handy stick-on attachments. In a headphone set-up, I added them first to the source (Oppo 103) where I noticed a marked improvement in clarity and detail, with an enhanced musicality. I then tried them on the headphone amp itself with similar, but less discernible, results. For £20, this is a terrific enhancement.
