Does it have a shoe horn please?** A: Yes it does, it is small but it is that nobbly bit on the top left. I had a hip replacement this year and this device was absolutely essential for me. Brilliant at picking things up as I couldn't bend, used it as an aid to put on my underwear and the shoe horn does work, although it is small you can hook it onto the back of your shoe and then slip your foot in. It's not as effective as a long handled shoe horn but at least it holds the back of the shoe out. Hope this helps. **Q: Would it pull weeds up?** A: Might grip the ones that don’t have strong roots......the end only has 12mm wide “fingers” grip... **Q: I can't work out how the head revolves. It seems firmly fixed on mine. Help please?** A: I do not think that the head is supposed to revolve. To me, that would defeat this great gadget's usefulness as being a sturdy, elongated "extension of the arm" and in so doing provides a very firm grip on lifting items from the floor or in narrow spaces. If the head revolved, it would diminish it's firm grip which is so useful. I find mine to be indispensable, using it this way. Hope this is helpful. Not sure what it's there for. Hammering glass nails into water? I reckon it was designed by the Spanish Inquisition. (No one expects them!) But. we'll get back to that. I bought this, very specifically, because I had puppies on the ground. And they'd ripped a 'Dog Cushion' to shreds. On the rough grass. Imagine it, can't ye? Puppy bite sized bits of kapok. *Everywhere!* I didn't have the heart to envisage me, crawling about with a sack. Picking every last bit of it up. But, at the same time; I'm a bit obsessive about rubbish. Thought I'd give one of these a try. Got the 32" one. I'm 5' 10" and lack arms like a Gibbon. Personally, I found it brilliant! Picked and sacked kapok like a veteran. Tiniest bits couldn't escape me! (I actually experimented and, Yes. Ye Can pick up a Matchstick with this thing! Good, eh? I can even *just about* manage a fairly heavy frying pan. Don't ask) Thing is; That bloody 'Hammer Head' bit. The bit at the bottom, to be exact. I really should saw that off, sometime. Just that I don't do any much continuous picking upping with it now. Glad of that. Because That bit's an absolute swine on the Wrist! Dunno. I think I have pretty average hands. Neither shovels, nor small. So, it's not that. It's a design niggle. It Digs into the outside edge of ye wrist. Right at the base of ye hand. Ye won't notice it, picking up the odd thing. But, if it was ye job? No Way! Be in agony inside way less than an hour! Other than that? Great! I studied the heck out of the massive array of these things available, on here. Read the reviews.
