Review: Musical, balanced, and easy to love – a proper all-rounder IEM - The Cadenza is one of those IEMs that just gets the fundamentals right. The tuning is warm-neutral with a musical tilt, rather than aggressively V-shaped or overly analytical. Bass is present and well weighted, with a gentle emphasis that gives tracks body and rhythm, but it never feels loose or boomy. It supports the music rather than trying to dominate it. Midrange is the real highlight. Vocals come through natural, full, and well placed, with good texture and tone. Guitars, piano, and synths all sound convincing, making the Cadenza particularly good for vocal-led music, acoustic tracks, and anything where midrange clarity matters. Treble is smooth and relaxed, with enough detail to keep things engaging but without sharpness or fatigue. This makes them very easy to listen to for long sessions. You don’t get artificial sparkle or forced “detail,” just a clean and controlled top end. Soundstage is respectable for the price, with decent width and good separation. It doesn’t try to sound artificially wide, but imaging is solid and coherent, which helps everything feel well organised rather than congested. Build quality is excellent for the money. The shells feel well made and comfortable, and the overall presentation punches above its price point. Overall, the Cadenza is not about wow-factor tricks. It’s about balance, musicality, and consistency. If you want an IEM that sounds good with almost any genre, scales well with better sources, and never becomes tiring or harsh, this is a very safe and satisfying choice. For the price, it’s easy to recommend and hard to fault.
Review: My favourite under £50 IEM's. - easily one of the best sub £50 IEM that sounds well tuned while leaning slightly warm sounding, bass is punchy without being over bearing (not ideal for bass heads), treble is nice and clear without being too harsh, these are definitely aimed more towards enjoyment of music rather than critical listening and detail analysing. (also a fantastic option for gamers) Fit is very comfortable and light weight without causing pain like some other IEM's I have tried, I have worn these for 8 hours straight many times before with zero issues, pretty small shells (great for those of us with small ears!), the blue coloured shell looks much better in person (the purple also looks good). build is very tough for something this cheap, was in a rush and accidently dropped them down the stairs and not a scratch/crack on them, still worked with zero issues, can't really comment on the tips as I almost never use stock tips, I favour the tang'zu Sancai balanced eartips which is what I used on these (highly recommend those tips if you have a little bit extra to spend) Overall kiwi ears never fail to impress with a solid product at an amazing price.

## Features

- 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫, 𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐀𝐯𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐥𝐥: Of all materials utilized in audio industry, Beryllium metal has the greatest tensile strength and surface tension, producing a premium sound often characterized by an incredibly powerful and responsive bass impact, rich mids, and crystal clear trebles. Cadenza utilizes a large 10mm Beryllium diaphragm driver which are still considered the pinnacle of dynamic drivers in speakers, headphones, and earphones
- 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐨 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: The diaphragms of dynamic drivers are the moving membranes that produce the sound driven by magnets within the driver. Thus, the thinner, lighter, and stiffer the membranes are, the faster responses the diaphragm can achieve, resulting in higher audio resolution and clarity across the frequency range.
- 𝐀𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞:Cadenza has been acoustically tuned to produce a balanced sound signature characteristic of modern audiophile standards. This was achieved through a custom-designed housing structure which was 3D printed to fit 10mm Beryllium driver. Bass has been adjusted to retain defining character of beryllium drivers, with resounding impact force and attack speed. But with a quicker bass decay, mids are able to remain natural and free of muddiness or bloat
- 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧-𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐲𝐥𝐞:The mids sound rich and lush, and incredibly detailed, thanks to the speed of the beryllium driver. The treble response reflects a Harman-reference standard style, with a natural curvature that sounds natural and free of fatigue, but still full of micro-details and full of air.
- 𝐃𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝟑.𝟓𝐦𝐦 𝐈𝐄𝐌 𝐂𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞:The Cadenza features a 2-pin connector for use with a variety of cables. This allows customization of your IEM-cable combinations, as well as extends the longevity of the Cadenza. The Cadenza comes standard with a 4-core braided copper cable with a 3.5mm single-ended termination for use with most smartphones, computers, and audio devices.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: does this have inline mic?**
A: This product does not have a mic built in, no.

**Q: what is difference between the eartips that came with it?**
A: As a hole there's not much difference in the construction of them. The solid black ones ars made from a rubber material and the other ones are from a silicon base. The rubber is a little more grippy than the silicon and you may fill the difference while trying to put them in. The biggest difference in the tips are the shape and the height. The side profile will indicate a little taller more bullet shape for the white ones and a shorter more rounded shape for the red and the black ones. These tips are pretty standard for most all iem's and are very serviceable and there's no sound difference from one to the other. The most important objective at this point is to find a size and shape that gives you a good seal and is comfortable to wear for more than just a few minutes. If none of these tips work for you I will be glad to give some recommendations as to the best of my knowledge. All ears are different, so there's no one perfect answer but we can probably get close.

**Q: Does the kiwi orchestra offer purple? Or will it offer purple? That’s kind of stopping me from purchasing as I’m not a huge green or blue fan.**
A: By Kmperdue on July 13, 2023

**Q: What is the cable length of these monitor's?**
A: Cable length is 45 inches...

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My favourite under £50 IEM's.

easily one of the best sub £50 IEM that sounds well tuned while leaning slightly warm sounding, bass is punchy without being over bearing (not ideal for bass heads), treble is nice and clear without being too harsh, these are definitely aimed more towards enjoyment of music rather than critical listening and detail analysing. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic IEM, flawed accessories. Stock tips don't fit; needs 5.5mm+ bore tips
*by D***E on 8 January 2026*

The Kiwi Ears Cadenza delivers a wonderfully warm and detailed sound with surprising bass depth and clear vocals for its price. However, there's a major flaw: the included silicone tips are too narrow for the IEM's wide 5.5mm-6mm nozzle, making them nearly impossible to fit and ruining the seal and comfort. To actually use these, you must budget for aftermarket wide-bore tips. I highly recommend getting SpinFit CP145 in size Large (designed for 5-6mm nozzles), which solved the problem perfectly and unlocked the fantastic sound. A stellar driver let down by mismatched accessories.
