The Popinjay MaXi-File is a flexible storage rack ideal for home and office use. Made with durable medium impact styrene plastic, it has an adjustable divider system that allows for a minimum spacing of 12mm between dividers up to a MaXi-mum of 340mm. It is invaluable for storing books, magazines, files, ring binders and lots more. The Popinjay MaXi-File is also portable and can be lifted and moved with ease on and off tables, desks and chairs. It comes conveniently flat packed with simple assembly instructions. (Please ensure the 4 locking clips are securely inserted to attach the end plates to the base bars; failure to do so will result in loose end plates.) 4 colour options available.     Just what I needed but don't forget the thickness of the base.

These are just what I needed so that I could neatly store ring files on my study shelves without them constantly falling down.  They are easy to assemble and the dividers can be taken in and out easily so that distances between them may be altered at will.  One word of warning - the base is about 2cm high so that files are lifted up 2cm.  Since the distance between my shelves had previously just accommodated the height of the files I needed to raise the shelf above to fit in the files on the Popinjay.  This was relatively easy for me because I have adjustable shelves but you will need to be mindful of this when measuring for suitability

This file rack is very cleverly designed - practical, durable, light, portable, easy to assemble - and it looks great too! As a teacher, I am constantly organising, rearranging and updating my files, so I am always on the hunt for versatile storage units. I came across the Maxi-File which is just perfect. I can add, remove and adjust the dividers as needed and I can also easily move and place the product in different spaces. The only reason I haven't awarded the unit the full 5 stars is that, once assembled, it is not designed to take apart (although it is possible).Tip: Make sure you remove the 6 clips attached to 2 dividers and use 4 of them (2 are spares) to lock the ends in place.

I bought this to use in my kitchen pantry.Pros: sturdy, easy to assemble, can easily adjust widths of slotsCons: ordered the blue, which was a crayon primary shade of blue, not the lighter shade shown in the images online
