No lid on a travel cup is fully sealed as such is it? Assumed this meant, well, unsealed, not plastic wrapped?! Why would you sell something with a 'lid' (lid definition - cover for the top of a container) that can't be guaranteed to shut down and keep liquid in properly. I don't get the concept of this product. The attraction is in the look, the cup would look good 'on the go' or 'on the move' but it is ridiculously difficult to use in this way.I only use this when any other drinks bottle or cup is not available- in an emergency like a hot day like today and I left my regular water bottle somewhere.It didn't fit any cup holders in my car (ok I could have checked sizes and didn't).But then having someone pass it to me, I attempted to drink from it whilst driving/at lights, which was a mistake. So even if it did fit a cupholder, this is still a nightmare. Coffee or whatever liquid does not run straight from the cup to your mouth as the rim is too high at the top. Liquid has to slide back into a catchment area before running back into the cup so increases likelihood of spillage.When lid is closed it gives the illusion of looking like a thermos, like liquid is safe, but DO NOT risk leaving somewhere it could fall onto its side or treat it in anyway like that sort of container as you will make a mess. There is nothing secure about this design if jigged about or slightly not upright. A plastic cup with lid from a pound shop has proved much better than this for keeping liquid safe and inside. I really don;t see why anyone would knowingly choose this over a regular thermos/flask. It is heavy and has all that insulation but is no use unless keeping it completely vertical the whole time. Less work and less mess to carry a baby or a kitten around all day. Even if I wanted to drink from a cup at a desk or table all day so the table supports it instead, I would rather use a comfortable mug with a handle. Most thick ceramic mugs keep hot drinks hot for long enough anyway. I don;t understand the concept, the design, the point of this product. And once you have finished your coffee from work for example, if you want to take it home again with you it is inconvenient as you would have to wahs and dry it thoroughly beforehand as again there is nowhere safe to leave it in a car unless you wrap it in a plastic bag which can be messy in itself. What a debacle. ### ⭐⭐ Not leak proof and not suitable for car journeys *by R***K on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 March 2018* This beaker looks great and is actually really nice quality apart from the lid, you can‘t use it to transport drinks unless you‘re able to hold it 100% upright all of the time as it leaks instantly due to how the lid is designed. Also when drinking you have to be careful not to spill anything due to how the lid is designed so not suitable for trips in the car either. Sadly this was a waste of money for me, really disappointed. :-( ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Just as it says, good! *by N***M on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 March 2018* Exactly as advertised. It clearly states in the lid that it isn't leakproof and I had an email prior to delivery to check I knew this which I did. It is well balanced, easy to wash, and the perfect size for me. It also keeps drinks hot whilst the outside is cool. I use this in a classroom setting so safety is high. It is everything it says it is. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because my old cup had a wide top and I keep banging my nose when I swig too quickly. My nose a standard size lol.
