Review: Great Alternative to Sand, Coconut or Walnut Shell - I switched from fine walnuts shell or desert sand to this and I love it. It must be kept up with every day but that will be a great benefit to the dragon because he will get more attention and stay healthier and cleaner. It is easier to clean the less stuff you put in the cage because it can be taken out and hosed off or what I do is take a wet paper towel and wipe the material down after I've removed the feces. His cage smells much better without the urine that used to soak into the sand and stay between cleanings. I highly recommend it. Its better for the dragon too, so his glands don't get clogged with sand and cause infection. Cut to fit, black looks modern. Easy to install and keep clean. High quality! Can be used for many reptiles not just dragons.

Can’t complain. Good quality, no smell, easy to clean, lizards aren’t bothered by it! Only issue we had was crickets and mealworms getting underneath after sand created gaps. This issue could honestly be user error, we probably could’ve cut the better.
