I guess that this is the case with all mounts. I worry about the longevity, though, since I have to remove it every time I use it because when I fold my Brompton it sticks out too much, so it is easy to hit something and break it. This is not a complaint, just a fact of anything you attach to the Bromptom's handlebar. One thing that doesn't work is the quick-release button. This looks to me like the mechanism hasn't been thoroughly tested and perhaps more users are having the problem? If that's not the case, perhaps the manufacturer can offer to replace :) Without it, the bracket is fully functional, anyway. Assume that it is decorative and it is not a problem.
