Review: Best airbrush I have ever used for large area coverage by a wide margin. 6 stars! - I specifically bought this airbrush because I started spraying Tru-Color solvent based acrylics and I just wasn't happy with the finish I was getting using conventional airbrushes on large surfaces. These are my Iwata HP-C and HP-CH. With the HP-TH, right out of the box with minimal tuning and no paint thinning experimentation I was able to get glass like finishes. 30 PSI and 50/50 paint to thinner ratio. Using the MAC valve I was able to dramatically reduce overspray and lay down a heavy, even, beautiful coat that covered my base color in a few passes. I can't say enough about the quality of the finish you can achieve with this product. This is not a fine detail spray gun, it's not meant to be. This is definitely a coverage gun and it is by far the best I've used for large surfaces on scale models. It is literally a miniature automotive sprayer right down to the rotatable flat spray nozzle. If you have ever used a professional automotive gravity feed paint gun this will all be very familiar. If I could give this thing more than 5 stars I would!
