Perfect and easy to install. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great extension *by T***T on September 8, 2016* This gate extension works great and is easy to install. The only trouble is if your dogs scratch at the gate, over time the bolts will get loose and require tightening. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ good but not perfect *by A***R on January 7, 2013* They should include lock washers with this extension. They should also add some bushings to the extension so that you can tighten it really tight without distorting the metal. I personally didnt over tighten but some people will and the bushings could keep them from damaging the gate. This gate fit my cardinal stair gate perfect. I had no issues with it other than knowing that I will have to keep an eye on the bolts. Probably pick up lock washers next trip to hardware store. But for the money that they ask for the extension I shouldnt have to pick stuff up.
