The first time it didn’t work as well as the second. That’s because I didn’t follow the directions the first time. The first time, I applied the cream to my scalp before taking down my twists, meaning as soon as I untwisted a section I applied the cream and moved on to untwisting another section. Four sections and one hour later, the cream had dried and was not as effective. The second time I untwisted all of my hair, divided into 5 sections and it took me 30 minutes to apply to my salon. That was the perfect amount of time to exfoliate my scalp and loosen the skin and comb out. I’d definitely recommend.
