Like any garmet sizing is subjective to body type & structure. I found the sizing to be inconsistent. Example; I odered both nude & black in same size. Nude was too big fit as a shaper. Black was very tight getting on over hips. Once on it did pretty well as a moderate shaper. As constricting as it is, would have liked a bit more smoothing silhouette. Perhaps, I demand too much from a shaper. The seller refunded my purchase price on the nude without returning. I did order another nude one size down. It did fit better overall. The rise was shorter. Which made it uncomfortable due to the leg/crotch straps. There is no material covering the butt. It is as the pics show. The rear section has cupping straps to lift butt.
